Is it bedtime yet?

Is it bedtime yet?  Seriously.  Don't get me wrong,  I love being a stay at home mom and feel very blessed to be able to do so, but it is not easy.  Rewarding yes, but definitely not "easy."  There are just so many of them. I am completely outnumbered....and they know it.   A little posse of toddler boys, under the age of 3...ready to destroy any toy, piece of furniture, wall, and sometimes even an entire room that gets in their way.  When the boys aren't busy trying to break or wrestle something, they are starting to have conversations with each other now.  "Don't talk to me like that Max."  "I don't like your tone Aidan."  Hmmmmm, where have I heard those lines before? I am living with parrots.  "Um, I didn't hear you say "you're welcome" Aidan."  A few of my other favorite conversations between the twins, which usually occurs when they are supposed to be napping include, "Aidan, why does it smell like poopies in here?" or "Max, wake up, Max, wake up, open eyes Max, no sleepies Max!"  As much as I love these little conversations, I love it more when they actually nap.

"Poptart for dinner" will be a place for me to share stories as they happen.  For example, past stories would include Brody eating dog vomit as a baby, Aidan getting bitten on the ear by a rogue duck at the zoo, trips to the ER for swallowing magnetic letters etc....the ER Dr. looking at the boys and then me saying "are these all yours?"  "Oh we'll be seeing you again in the future for sure."  Awesome.  ..........just your standard everyday stuff in the life of raising 3 toddler boys.  Stay tuned! :)
